1. TOPICS OF INTEREST TO THE JOURNAL
Revista Andaluza de Administración Pública publishes original works on administrative law and public administration, particularly emphasizing those that enhance understanding of the law and institutions of the autonomous community of Andalusia.
2. SUBMISSIONS
Manuscripts should be original and unpublished. They should be emailed to raap@us.es in an editable format such as OpenOffice or Word.
3. EDITING STANDARDS
3.1 Format
1. Top and bottom margins: 2.5 cm.
Left and right margins: 2.5 cm.
Line spacing: 1.5.
2. Font: Times New Roman.
Size: 12 for main text and 10 for footnotes.

4. Each manuscript, except bibliographic reviews, must start with the title centered. Titles should be written in both Spanish and English and must not include footnotes. The author's name should be on the next line, aligned to the right; the academic or professional affiliation should follow on the next line; and the ORCID registration number must be on the next line.
This must be followed by an abstract on a separate line with justified margins that may not exceed 20 lines and must be written in Spanish and English. It must also contain keywords (3 to 6) in each language.
In bibliographic reviews, the title of the review should appear first, with justified margins. The title must include the identifying information of the reviewed work in the following order: title of the work, author, publisher, ISBN, and page count. The text of the review must follow. Finally, the author's name should be placed at the end, aligned to the right, followed by their academic or professional affiliation, and the ORCID registration number.
5. The originals must include the paper's contents (a list of section headings) immediately before the main text, according to the following rules that must be followed in the various sections of the text:
I. SECTION HEADING (LEVEL 1) IN CAPITAL LETTERS PRECEDING A ROMAN NUMERAL.
1. Subheading level 2 in bold type preceded by an Arabic numeral.
A. Subheading level 3 in regular type preceded by a capital letter.
a) Subheading level 4 in italics preceded by a lowercase letter.
3.2. Footnotes.
a) All footnotes should be single-spaced.
b) They should be numbered using superscript Arabic numerals.
c) Footnotes should include a simplified citation of the author, year, and page number, as shown in the following example:
- CLAVERO ARÉVALO, M.F., The New Urban Planning Licensing Regime, Civitas, Madrid, 1976, p. 34.
» CLAVERO ARÉVALO, M.F. (1976: 34).
3.3. Bibliography.
Studies, jurisprudence commentaries, chronicles and documents will include a final section listing the bibliography cited in the manuscript, arranged alphabetically by the author's first surname. Regarding this:
a) Bibliographic references will appear at the end and will be limited to the works cited in the manuscript.
b) They will be arranged alphabetically by the author's first surname, in capital letters, under the heading "Bibliography".
The citation system in the section for cited bibliography will be as shown below:
4. PUBLICATION PROCESS
RAAP, through its editorial board, will decide on the publication of the works once they have been reviewed by two external reviewers, experts in the field, applying a double-blind system.
Authors of manuscripts selected for publication may be required to correct the proofs, which must be returned within five days. Failure to do so may result in publication without further notice or non-publication. Only error corrections are permitted in this proofreading process; substantial changes to the proofs are not allowed.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
Submissions for the upcoming issue 199, January-June 2025, have closed and are being reviewed.
Issue 120 will be a monographic issue dedicated to the VI Andalusian Journal of Public Administration Conference on PATRIMONIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION, to be held on June 26 and 27, 2025.
