The territorial issue in the investiture debate of the president of the Junta de Andalucía

Abstract

Against forty-eight opposing votes, fifty-eight parliamentarians granted the confidence of the Chamber to the candidate for the presidency of the Junta de Andalucía, Susana Díaz Pacheco, in the plenary session held on September 4 and 5, 2013. And as the generality of the media of communication highlighted, on this occasion the act of investing presented palpable  novelties compared to the investiture of the previous Presidents. News that would be highlighted by the spokesman of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, to the point of not hesitating to attribute “historical character” to the session.
