Abstract

The field of health has undergone notable changes in the last forty years. Medicines and health products are no strangers to this reality, in a context where the prescription, indication, use and authorisation of dispensing them has meant giving a new dimension to the active participation of the different health professionals who come together in the comprehensive care of citizens.

Explaining the legal system initially designed and modified by Royal Decree 1302/2018 of 22 October is the object of this work. The topicality of the initiative and its legal and social dimension demand an analysis of urgency that gives light to what has been a route full of difficulties in its application, which has generated collision between the central and autonomous administration, between professionals (doctors and nurses) and restlessness in the users.
