Abstract

It represents an exciting and passionate story about the future global water crisis and the teaching that we can obtain from the experience of Israel that in a short period of ten years, at the beginning of the present century, went from a water scarcity and fear of the drought to the abundance of the resource and the independence of the climatic conditions using systematic application of the techniques of desalination and reuse of residual waters, besides based in the application of strict measures of saving in the agricultural, urban and industrial uses.
