Abstract

Big Data is a reality. Its implementation and influence in all areas will represent a new social, economic and technological revolution. In this regard, the field of health is not alien to its possibilities. Currently, as a consequence of the health crisis caused by COVID-19, the Big Data system is proving to be an especially useful tool to foresee the spread of the virus, and establish control strategies.Nonetheless, the Big Data environment also presents important legal-economic challenges that the Law must face.
