Prevention and Fight Against SportÊs Violence in SpanishÊs Autonomous Communities Legal Systems

Abstract

Prevention and fight against violence in grass-root sport is a huge pending problem in Spanish Sport’s Law. There are serious incidents every week-end, but no messures are taken to avoid or punish it, excepting the criminal consequences. According to Spanish Law, this matter is within the purview of Autonomous Communities. This paper analyses the avant-gardists autonomous legal systems, setting out the regulation in Catalonia, Basque Country, Andalusia and Aragon.
