Towards a new water´s administration in Andalusia

Abstract

The object of the article is to present, in chronological order and from a legal-administrative point of view, the evolution of the administrative structures for water management in Andalusia, in order to formulate future proposals to adapt water management to the principles basic principles included in Directive 2000/60/CE, of 23 october, establishing a framework for Community action in the field of water policy, in Royal Decree 1/2001, of 20 July, approving the Consolidated Text of the Water Law and Law 9/2010, of 30 July, of Waters for Andalusia, and thus achieve the implementation of governance in water management.
