On October 15 and 16, the III International Conference on Mining Studies dedicated to "Mining and the environment in the 21st century: a global vision and Comparative Law" was held in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Law of the University of Seville, directed by professors Encarnación Montoya Martín, Professor of Administrative Law, and Mª Ángeles Fernández Scagliusi, Associate Professor of Administrative Law, both from the University of Seville. This conference, like the first two editions, is part of the DER Project 2016-78393-R "Extractive mining in the 21st century; legal and environmental challenges".
