Abstract

This work makes two initial and plausible contributions that should not go unnoticed. On the one hand, it presents an overview of the figure of the official chronicler that facilitates the understanding of its relevance and the diversity of its functions, and on the other, it combines criteria and establishes legal norms in a panorama that until now was tremendously disparate and messy.
