The book opens with a general introduction to the seminar by Luis Ortega ("Weighting in the framework of pluralism") and with a presentation of the theory of weighting from the Administrative Law by Luis Arroyo Jiménez ("Weighting, proportionality and Administrative Law »). Then the interventions of two philosophers of Law are placed around the general theory of weighting in the context of the so-called neo-constitutionalism: "Ten arguments about neo-constitutionalism, judgment of weighting and fundamental rights", by Luis Prieto Sanchís; and «Neo-constitutionalism and weighting», by Alfonso García Figueroa. The second part of the day was carried out, prior to the presentation of Susana de la Sierra ("The weighting and its context. A reflection by way of introduction"), by administrativists. In it, some concrete applications of the weighting in administrative law were discussed by José María Rodríguez de Santiago ("Weighting and planning activity of the Administration"), Francisco Velasco Caballero ("Weighting method and competence system") and Gabriel Doménech Pascual (" Legal principles, proportionality and economic analysis »).
