The euro and the battle of ideas

Abstract

The book was published in original in English, in Princeton, in 2016 with the very expressive title of “The Euro and the Battle of Ideas”, of which the Spanish version of 2017 constitutes literal translation. It consists of the following parts, namely:
- First, “Changes in power and differences between Germany and France” (pages 31-126).
- Second, “Monetary and fiscal stability: the ghost of Maastricht” (pages 127-226). -
Third, “Financial stability: the stepson of Maastricht” (pages 229- 336). -
Fourth, “The perspectives of others” (pages 339-final).
