Abstract

Public employment is one of the subjects of Administrative Law on which most effort has been focused on administrative reform by Italian government and legislators. In the present study we are to analyze the Italian experience in the process of change and transformation of the continental model of public employment that has led its public service to the field of labor law. After engaging in a retrospective historical study of Italian public service law, we will look at its current legal regime, making special reference to the most recent regulatory reforms.
