Abstract

The idea of convergence that Bologna declaration brought and the application of the general principles of Administrative Law (specially the principles of equity, collaboration, simplification, effectiveness, efficiency), some of them reinterpreted in the light of the need to control public expenditure nowadays, make it necessary for us to review and reconsider our present regulation of Higher Music Education in relation to the current ones which maintain a dual status where University Studies and Higher Music Conservatory coexist. Nevertheless, the annulment of the Additional Provision 7th of R.D. 1614/2009, 23 of October, leads to a situation of uncertainty and unsustainability, which needs an early resolution, since it seems doomed to a date of expiry for Music Higher Education in Advanced Conservatoires.
