Abstract

The object of study of this paper is the Royal Decree 8/2014 of 7 February, which incorporates into the Spanish law Directive 2011/24/EU of 9 March, on the application of patients’ rights in cross-border healthcare. Subjects eligible for cross-border healthcare, how it can be used, the requirements of the State of treatment and the State of affiliation, prior administrative approval, exclusions, and coordination are some of the issues.
