Abstract

This work is structured in three main parts: 1. General legal framework for sustainable urban growth. 2. The limitations to urban growth on the area; Some reflections on growth containment techniques in Catalonia, the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islands; and 3. The limitations to population growth in territorial and urban planning.
